CEO of Penang Halal International Attends Dinner Hosted by Tawafuq Consultancy

October 14 – Mr. Fazil Irwan Som, the Chief Executive Officer of Penang Halal International, attended a dinner hosted by Tawafuq Consultancy. The dinner was also attended by a delegation from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), led by the Mr Mohammad Shuaib Yacob, Minister, Mr Amilbahar P. Amilasan, Jr. Deputy Minister, and top management from Ministry of Finance and Budget and Management (MFBM), top management from Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR), top management from Bangsamoro Pilgrimage Authority, and as well as the top management of BARMM. Mr. Haji Mohammad Sahar Mat Din, Board of Director Penang Halal International and the President of DPIM, was also present.

Among the topics discussed were the possibility of cross-border Halal cooperation between the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao and the establishment of Islamic Finance institutions there.
